శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వర వైద్య విజ్ఞాన సంస్థ (SVIMS), తిరుపతిలో విద్యనభ్యసిస్తున్న MBBS విద్యార్థినుల సంక్షేమంతో పాటు, ప్రతిష్ఠాత్మక “శ్రీవారి వైద్యసేవ” కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొనే ప్రముఖ, నిపుణ వైద్యులకు మెరుగైన వసతి సదుపాయాలు కల్పించడంపై తిరుమల తిరుపతి దేవస్థానములు ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి సారించింది.
ఈ మేరకు టీటీడీ జాయింట్ ఎగ్జిక్యూటివ్ ఆఫీసర్ (విద్య & వైద్య) శ్రీ ప్రభల గోపినాథ్, IAS, స్విమ్స్ డైరెక్టర్ & వైస్ ఛాన్సలర్ డా. గుడారు జగదీష్తో కలిసి వేదిక్ హాస్టల్, స్విమ్స్ గెస్ట్ హౌస్, వశిష్ట అతిథిగృహాలను సందర్శించి, అక్కడ జరుగుతున్న అభివృద్ధి మరియు వసతి సదుపాయాల పనులను క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో పరిశీలించారు.
పనుల్లో జాప్యం వద్దు – నాణ్యతకు అత్యంత ప్రాధాన్యం
వేదిక్ హాస్టల్‌లో MBBS విద్యార్థినులకు కల్పించాల్సిన వసతి సదుపాయాలు, గదులు, అవసరమైన మౌలిక సదుపాయాలతో పాటు స్విమ్స్ గెస్ట్ హౌస్, వశిష్ట అతిథిగృహాల్లో కొనసాగుతున్న పనుల పురోగతిని జేఈవో సమీక్షించారు.
మిగిలిన పనులను ఎలాంటి అనవసర జాప్యం లేకుండా వేగవంతంగా పూర్తి చేయాలని, అదే సమయంలో నిర్మాణం, మరమ్మతులు, ఇతర సదుపాయాల విషయంలో నాణ్యతా ప్రమాణాలకు ఎట్టి పరిస్థితుల్లోనూ రాజీ పడకూడదని సంబంధిత ఇంజినీరింగ్ అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.
విద్యార్థినులు, వైద్యులు, అతిథులకు సురక్షితమైన, పరిశుభ్రమైన, సౌకర్యవంతమైన వాతావరణం కల్పించే విధంగా అవసరమైన అన్ని మౌలిక సదుపాయాలను సమకూర్చాలని సూచించారు.
శ్రీవారి వైద్యసేవకు వచ్చే నిపుణ వైద్యులకు మెరుగైన వసతి
దేశంలోని వివిధ ప్రాంతాల నుంచి శ్రీవారి వైద్యసేవ కార్యక్రమంలో భాగంగా స్విమ్స్‌కు వచ్చి పేద, నిరుపేద రోగులకు తమ నైపుణ్యాన్ని ఉచితంగా అందిస్తున్న ప్రముఖ వైద్య నిపుణులకు మెరుగైన వసతి కల్పించడం అత్యంత ముఖ్యమని అధికారులు పేర్కొన్నారు.
స్విమ్స్ గెస్ట్ హౌస్, వశిష్ట అతిథిగృహాల్లో అవసరమైన సదుపాయాలను అభివృద్ధి చేసి అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకురావడం ద్వారా, శ్రీవారి వైద్యసేవలో పాల్గొనే వైద్యులకు మరింత సౌకర్యవంతమైన వసతి కల్పించవచ్చని తెలిపారు.
ఇలాంటి సదుపాయాల అభివృద్ధి ద్వారా దేశవ్యాప్తంగా మరింత మంది ప్రముఖ వైద్య నిపుణులను శ్రీవారి వైద్యసేవలో భాగస్వాములను చేసేందుకు అనుకూలమైన వాతావరణం ఏర్పడుతుందని పేర్కొన్నారు.

ఈ సందర్భంగా స్విమ్స్ డైరెక్టర్ & వైస్ ఛాన్సలర్ డా. గుడారు జగదీష్ మాట్లాడుతూ, టీటీడీ సహకారంతో స్విమ్స్‌లో విద్యార్థినులు, వైద్యులు మరియు అతిథులకు అవసరమైన వసతి సదుపాయాలను మరింత మెరుగుపరిచేందుకు ప్రాధాన్యతతో చర్యలు చేపడుతున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
“వైద్య విద్యలో నాణ్యతతో పాటు విద్యార్థులకు సురక్షితమైన, సౌకర్యవంతమైన వసతి కల్పించడం కూడా ఎంతో ముఖ్యం. వేదిక్ హాస్టల్ పూర్తిస్థాయిలో అందుబాటులోకి వస్తే MBBS విద్యార్థినులకు మెరుగైన వసతి సౌకర్యాలు లభిస్తాయి. అదే విధంగా స్విమ్స్ గెస్ట్ హౌస్, వశిష్ట అతిథిగృహాల అభివృద్ధి ద్వారా శ్రీవారి వైద్యసేవలో పాల్గొనే నిపుణ వైద్యులకు మరింత సౌకర్యవంతమైన వసతి కల్పించగలుగుతాం” అని డా. గుడారు జగదీష్ తెలిపారు.
శ్రీవారి వైద్యసేవలో పాల్గొనే వైద్యులకు మంచి వసతి, అవసరమైన సౌకర్యాలు కల్పించడం ద్వారా వారు స్విమ్స్‌లో పేద రోగులకు మరింత సమర్థవంతంగా సేవలందించేందుకు అనుకూల పరిస్థితులు ఏర్పడతాయని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు.
నిర్దేశిత గడువులో పనులు పూర్తి చేయాలి
వసతి సదుపాయాలకు సంబంధించిన మిగిలిన పనులను నిర్దేశిత గడువులోగా పూర్తి చేసి వీలైనంత త్వరగా వినియోగంలోకి తీసుకురావడానికి టీటీడీ ఇంజినీరింగ్ విభాగం, స్విమ్స్ యంత్రాంగం సమన్వయంతో పనిచేయాలని నిర్ణయించారు.
పనుల పురోగతిని ఎప్పటికప్పుడు సమీక్షిస్తూ, అవసరమైన చోట తక్షణ నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకొని పనులు వేగవంతం చేయాలని సంబంధిత అధికారులకు సూచించారు.
విద్యార్థుల సంక్షేమం – వైద్యులకు మెరుగైన సౌకర్యాలు – శ్రీవారి వైద్యసేవ బలోపేతం – రోగులకు మరింత నాణ్యమైన వైద్యం అనే లక్ష్యాలతో స్విమ్స్‌లో వసతి సదుపాయాల అభివృద్ధికి టీటీడీ ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తున్నట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
ఈ తనిఖీలలో స్విమ్స్ అధికారులు, టీటీడీ ఇంజినీరింగ్ విభాగం అధికారులు మరియు సంబంధిత సిబ్బంది పాల్గొన్నారు.

Better Accommodation for MBBS Students and Specialist Doctors Participating in Srivari Vaidya Seva
Tirupati, September 11:
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has accorded special priority to strengthening accommodation facilities at Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), Tirupati, with a focus on the welfare of MBBS students and providing comfortable accommodation to eminent and specialist doctors participating in the prestigious Srivari Vaidya Seva programme.
As part of this initiative, TTD Joint Executive Officer (Education & Medical) Sri Prabhala Gopinath, IAS, along with Dr. Gudaru Jagadish, Director & Vice-Chancellor, SVIMS, inspected the Vedic Hostel, SVIMS Guest House and Vasishta Guest House and reviewed the progress of the ongoing development and infrastructure works.
No Delay in Works – Quality Must Be Ensured
During the inspection, the JEO reviewed the accommodation and essential amenities being developed for MBBS students at the Vedic Hostel, as well as the progress of works at the SVIMS Guest House and Vasishta Guest House.
He directed the concerned engineering officials to expedite all pending works without unnecessary delay, while ensuring strict adherence to prescribed quality standards.
The officials were instructed to provide all essential amenities required to create a safe, hygienic and comfortable environment for students, visiting doctors and other guests.
Better Accommodation for Doctors Under Srivari Vaidya Seva
Special emphasis was placed on providing quality accommodation to eminent medical specialists coming from different parts of the country to render their expertise and services to poor and needy patients at SVIMS under the Srivari Vaidya Seva programme.
The development of the SVIMS Guest House and Vasishta Guest House with improved amenities will provide comfortable accommodation to visiting specialists and facilitate their participation in the programme.
Officials observed that strengthening these facilities would also create a more conducive environment for encouraging eminent specialists from across the country to participate in Srivari Vaidya Seva, thereby further benefiting poor and needy patients.
“Student Welfare, Doctors’ Comfort and Better Patient Care Are Our Priorities” – Dr. Gudaru Jagadish
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Gudaru Jagadish, Director & Vice-Chancellor, SVIMS, said that several initiatives were being undertaken with the support of TTD to strengthen accommodation and related infrastructure for students, doctors and visiting guests at SVIMS.
“Along with excellence in medical education, it is equally important to provide our students with safe and comfortable accommodation. Once the Vedic Hostel becomes fully operational, it will significantly improve residential facilities for MBBS students. Similarly, strengthening the SVIMS Guest House and Vasishta Guest House will enable us to provide better accommodation to specialist doctors participating in Srivari Vaidya Seva,” Dr. Jagadish said.
He further stated that providing visiting specialists with appropriate accommodation and essential facilities would create a supportive environment for them to devote their expertise to the treatment of poor and needy patients at SVIMS.
Works to Be Completed Within the Stipulated Time
The TTD Engineering Department and SVIMS administration have been instructed to work in close coordination to complete the remaining accommodation works within the stipulated timeframe and make the facilities operational at the earliest.
The progress of the works will be reviewed periodically so that any bottlenecks can be addressed promptly and the projects completed without avoidable delays.
Officials stated that TTD is giving priority to the development of accommodation infrastructure at SVIMS with the broader objective of promoting student welfare, providing better facilities for visiting doctors, strengthening Srivari Vaidya Seva and ultimately improving patient care.
SVIMS officials, TTD Engineering Department officials and other concerned staff participated in the inspection.
